President’s Message
Dear Nalandians,
Welcome to the Nalanda College Old Boys’ Association UK website, an essential platform for connecting the Nalandian community around the world. This platform allows us to interact with people from all walks of life and share information on all events that foster togetherness, friendship, and inspiration, ensuring that we stay informed and updated.
I am honoured to have been selected to serve as the President of Nalanda College Old Boys’ Association in UK for the years 2023 to 2024. I look forward to working with all of you to enhance our ties and guide our alma mater to the greatest heights in UK.
As we celebrate Nalanda College’s excellence and accomplishments beyond those of a prestigious educational institution as we commemorate its enormous effect and influence over the past 100 years.
Our devoted and passionate Old Boys continue to promote and enhance their alma mater, and we are proud of them. This prestigious institution has raised and produced many important people who have thrived globally and will do so for many years to come.
As the President of NOBA UK, I will consider every member’s suggestion and consistently reach appropriate conclusions to advance our objectives. There will be variety of social and fundraising events, so that Nalandians and their families can meet one another. Therefore, I implore every Nalandian to sign up as a member of NOBA UK to be informed of any updates and events.
We Nalandians firmly believe in Buddhism and in aiding Sri Lanka’s underprivileged population. On this platform, a detailed update of all charity-based events will be available as well.
Together, we will prosper while maintaining our roots and pursuing excellence in everything we do. As we progress, we embrace the customs and legacies left by earlier committees, enabling cooperation and development. We work together as one team for the growth of Nalanda College, our beloved alma mater, through collaboration, a shared vision, and learning from our experiences.
My Committee and I are committed to supporting our common goals and principles, which will direct us towards success with a focus on what is ethical and enduring.
I am eagerly waiting to see you all and to have a fantastic time at a forthcoming event.
